Safety management of operative position of Da Vinci robot assisted gynecologic surgery

Abstract:

Objective

To discuss the safety management of the operative position of Da Vinci robot assisted gynecologic surgery, and make sure the operation is performed smoothly.

Methods

To summarize 46 cases of abdomen, pelvic surgery from Feb. 2014 to Dec. 2015 , Da Vinci robot assisted gynecologicaloperation in lithotomy position and analyze the related nursing factors, establish the guidelines of the safety management.

Results

46 cases of gynecological surgery were carried out by Da Vinci robot successfully, no complications were reported in the following up procedure.

Conclusions

With the correct application of posture display standard, Da Vinci robotic surgery system can be safely used in gynecological surgery.
