Abstract:

Pancreatic pseudocysts are most commonly benign cystic lesions of the pancreas. The cyst wall is composed of granulation tissue and fibrous tissue.often secondary to acute and chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic injury. There are various treatments for pseudocysts, but lack of standardized guidelines. The rise of endoscopic therapy and laparoscopic therapy has provided safer, more effective and minimally invasive options for the treatment of pancreatic pseudocysts.Studies have shown that the first operation success rate of laparoscopic surgery is higher than that of endoscopic treatment. With the continuous development of laparoscopic surgery in recent years, more medical centers have chosen laparoscopic internal drainage to treat pancreatic pseudocysts. This article will discuss the different surgical methods, operation timing and advantagesof laparoscopic treatment of pancreatic pseudocysts.
