Abstract:
Objective
To summarize in video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) single hole operation for lung bullae resection (96 h after admission) on the treatment of primary spontaneous pneumothorax (SP) clinical experience.
Methods
We retrospectively clinical control study, a comprehensive assessment of the treatment effect, Jan. 2008 to Dec.2015 for 30 cases of SP with pulmonary bullae formation of patients undergoing VATS single hole operation for lung bullae resection.
Results
All the patients were treated with early operation, and all the patients achieved good results. No serious complications such as reoperation and no death occurred.
Conclusions
VATS single hole operation for lung bullae resection in the treatment of SP, curative effect is exact, which is safe and feasible, and reduce the incidence of complications. It is a simple, safe and effective, ideal method of treatment, it is worth of clinical application.
