Preliminary study on the method of the ovarian suture formation under the mini-incision single-site laparoendoscopic

Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the safety and feasibility of the ovarian suture formation surgery under the mini-incision single-site laparoendoscopic.

Methods

We retrospective analyzed the clinical data of 5 patients with the ovarian suture formation surgery under the mini-incision single-site laparoendoscopic at gynecology department of the Affiliated Changzhou No.2 People′s Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from Apr. to Dec.2018.

Results

All the 5 patients successfully completed the operation, the median operative time was 65-145 min. The median intraoperative blood loss was 20-100 ml, the median postoperative hospital stay was 5-8 d, no other port incision was needed.

Conclusions

On the premise of mature traditional laparoscopic technology, the ovarian suture formation surgery under the mini-incision single-site laparoendoscopic may be safe and feasible, and it has the advantages of beautiful incision and high patient satisfaction.
