To explore the safety and feasibility of laparoendoscopic hysterectomy via transumbilical Single-port .

100 patients with benign disease of gynaecology were treated with laparoendoscopic hysterectomy via transumbilical Single-port in the People′s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from Jan. 2013 to Feb. 2017. A single incision was done in navel and an inserting transition platform was applied in combination of using the traditional laparoscopic instruments and the flexible single-arch laparoscopic instruments.

All the operations were successfully. Perfomed without postoperative complications and without operative deaths.The average size of uterus was (51.46 ± 12.39) cm³ and the operation time was (98.91 ± 18.97) min.The intraoperative blood loss was (65.00 ± 21.75 mm) and the hospitalization stay was (7.57 ± 0.98) days. The average of the postoperative pain visual analogue scale (VAS) was(1.41 ± 0.27) and the postoperative anal exhausting time was (44.00 ± 9.34) h. Total patients had no long-term complications after a postoperative follow-up of 3 months.Their cretory functions were normal.The navel incision and vaginal stump healed well, without obvious scars.

Laparoendoscopic hysterectomy via transumbilical Single-port is a safe, feasible and effective method for gynecologic surgery.
