Abstract:

The introduction of single-port robotic surgery has provided gynecologists with a novel approach to conducting a variety of complex procedures through a single incision. This innovation not only enhances surgical precision but also reduces trauma, and has the potential to further improve the minimally invasive nature of surgeries through the use of natural orifice procedures. In recent years, significant progress has been made in the clinical application of the single-port robotic system, demonstrating its feasibility and effectiveness across various surgical fields, including gynecological surgery. However, despite these notable achievements, this technology still faces certain challenges. Looking ahead, with ongoing technological advancements and deeper clinical experience, it is expected that the single-port robotic system will play a more prominent role in the field of gynecology. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the clinical application research and future prospects of the flexible single-port robotic system in gynecological contexts.
