Abstract:

Objective

To explore the safety and feasibility of robotic laparoscopic radical surgery for vaginal malignant melanoma.

Methods

A retrospectively analysis of the clinical information of a patient with vaginal malignant melanoma in the Department of Gynecology of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College in Sep. 2020.

Results

The patient successfully completed the operation and underwent the combined treatment of immunotherapy and chemotherapy. However, the survival time was only 9.5 months.

Conclusions

Da Vinci robotic laparoscopic radical surgery for vaginal malignant melanoma is safe and feasible. The five-year survival rate is low because vaginal malignant melanoma is a kind of highly malignant tumor. The standard treatment plan needs to be further explored.

Key words: Malignant melanoma of vagina, Da Vinci, Total vaginal excision
