Abstract:

Objective

Discuss the differences between the traditional nursing mode and the intermittent pneumatic compression devices to prevent postoperative deep vein thrombosis after.

Methods

135 total three-stage oesophagectomy patients with esophageal cancer radical were randomly divided into control group and the application of the intermittent pneumatic compression devices group, compared two groups of patients of postoperative femoral vein hemodynamic indexes and differences in the incidence of deep vein thrombosis of lower limbs.

Results

Two groups of patients were not present postoperative deep vein thrombosis of lower limb, but the application of the intermittent pneumatic compression devices group femoral venous blood flow mechanics index of blood flow, average blood flow velocity and blood flow peak velocity were higher than control group, the difference has statistical significance (P<0.01).

Conclusions

The application of intermittent pneumatic compression device can improve the postoperative patients with lower extremity deep vein blood flow, reduce the risk of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis.
