Strategies and characteristics of bowel preparation for colonoscopy in the elderly

Abstract

Abstract:

With the extensive development of digestive endoscopy examination and treatment in clinical, requirements of bowel preparation before endoscopic examination is more and more high. Because of organ dysfunction, the elderly have poor tolerance to bowel preparation, and the incidence of all kinds of adverse reactions is high. How to explore and optimize the bowel preparation scheme suitable for the elderly has become an urgent problem to be solved.
