Diagnostic of cervical video mediastinoscopy in simple mediastinal lymphadenopathy

Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the clinical value of cervical video mediastinoscopy for the diagnosis of simple mediastinal lymphadenopathy.

Methods

Clinical data from 21 patients with simple mediastinal lymphadenopathy who underwent cervical video mediastinoscopy between Jul. 2011 and Mar. 2016 were retrospectively analyzed.

Results

The patients recovered smoolthy without complications of perioperative period.The diagnostic accordance rate was 100%.

Conclusions

Cervical video mediastinoscopy is for the diagnosis of simple superior mediastinal lymphadenopathy.
